MIND Staff Attend National Neuroscience Institute Conference – September 2006
In operation for almost a year now, the Mercy Institute of Neuroscience (MIND), continues in its efforts to provide state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary care for neurological patients. Virginia Snyder, Ph.D., PA-C, Program Director attended the 8th annual national conference on Adding, Updating, and Expanding Neuroscience Centers of Excellence at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, in July 2006.
Representatives from major neuroscience centers across the country were in attendance. Seminars provided education on a variety of topics, including new technologies for neuro-oncology treatment, stroke program development, improving neurological patient care, and integrated spine care services.
