Mercy Health System is pleased to announce the formation of the Mercy Institute of Neuroscience— Dedicated to Your Brain and Spine (MIND). As an institute, MIND provides accessible, comprehensive, centralized evaluation and treatment of patients with neurological disorders within an interdisciplinary setting. Whereas many disciplines that treated neurological problems worked independently in the past, they will now function as a team to provide a coordinated, horizontal continuum of care, with practitioners evaluating patients on a broad, thorough basis to decide the best course of treatments to help the patient recover.

During MIND’s initial phase, the involved disciplines will function within their current facility. There will be a centralized phone number, program assistant, and a dedicated clinical nurse specialist who will organize and direct patient treatment through the interdisciplinary pathways of care. In turn, patients will see a reduction in wait time when scheduling appointments within MIND.
Our team of professionals is dedicated to the problems commonly experienced by patients with neurological conditions.
